GENERAL BILL by Brodeur

Child Welfare; Requiring the case record of every child under the supervision or in the custody of the Department of Children and Families, the department’s agents, or providers contracting with the department to include a case record face sheet; revising criteria for the court to consider when determining whether a legal change of custody is in the best interests of the child; providing for priority placements for a child who must be placed in out-of-home care; requiring the department to make reasonable efforts to place siblings in the same foster, kinship, adoptive, or guardianship home when certain conditions are met, etc.
