GENERAL BILL by Burgess ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Rouson

Motor Vehicle Insurance; Repealing provisions which comprise the Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law; revising the motor vehicle insurance coverages that an applicant must show to register certain vehicles with the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; revising minimum coverage requirements for proof of financial responsibility for specified motor vehicles; revising requirements for motor vehicle liability insurance policies relating to coverage, and exclusion from coverage, for certain drivers and vehicles; revising coverages that may provide for a reduction in motor vehicle insurance policy premium charges under certain circumstances, etc. APPROPRIATION: $83,651

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect July 1, 2023
