Freedom of Speech and the Press in the Public Education System; Providing that student journalists have the right to exercise freedom of the press in school-sponsored media; requiring that determinations regarding the news, opinion, feature, and advertising content of school-sponsored media be made by student journalists; authorizing student media advisors to teach professional standards of journalism to student journalists; prohibiting school districts from restricting the publication or broadcast of certain materials; requiring school districts to show prior justification for limiting student journalist expression, etc.
