GENERAL BILL by Berman
Voter Registration; Revising the date by which the registration books must be closed before an election; revising procedures governing voter registration by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; requiring specified applications to include a voter registration component, subject to approval by the Department of State; specifying requirements for the voter registration component, etc.
        
        Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2022
