GENERAL BILL by Payne ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Morales
Lifeline Services; Revises provisions concerning Lifeline services; removes provisions that specify circumstances under which telecommunications carrier must credit consumer's bill with Lifeline Assistance credit; removes DOE & Office of Public Counsel from entities with whom state agencies must cooperate in developing procedures to promote Lifeline participation; provides certain information is exempt as well as confidential; authorizes certain confidential & exempt information to be released to Federal Communications Commission.
