GENERAL BILL by McFarland ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Garcia ; Lopez, V.

Coastal Construction and Assessments; Provides that only coastal counties & coastal municipalities that received written authorization from DEP may establish construction zoning & building code exceptions to coastal construction control lines; prohibits DEP from delegating authority to coastal counties & coastal municipalities that did not receive such authorization; authorizes DEP to award grants to coastal counties for certain saltwater intrusion vulnerability assessments & provide certain cost-share funding; requires DEP to update certain data & make certain information available on its website.
