Insurance; Revises grounds for claims for extracontractual damages against property insurers; provides that certain corrective actions & payments by property insurers do not constitute adverse adjudications; provides requirements for certain monetary & financial damages sought from property insurers; prohibits certain notices against property insurers from including nonmonetary provision demands & requirements; revises hours of coursework in insurance for licenses as general lines agents; requires adjusters to include their appointment types in their first text messages to policyholders; prohibits public adjusters from engaging in adversarial conduct with insurance company claims personnel & consultants during course of adjustment of claims; revises circumstances under which insurers & agents may cancel & nonrenew residential property insurance policies after certain damages.
