Fraud in the Reemployment Assistance Program; Citing this act as the “Protecting the Reemployment Assistance Program from Fraud Act of 2025”; requiring the Department of Commerce to verify the identity of claimants who apply for reemployment assistance benefits before paying any benefits to them; requiring the department to scrutinize claims filed from foreign Internet protocol addresses before paying benefits on such claims; requiring that any suspected fraudulent claim be referred to the Department of Legal Affairs or the state attorney of the judicial circuit in which the suspected fraudulent claim originated from for further investigation and prosecution, etc.
