SB 422: Earned Wage Access Services
GENERAL BILL by Trumbull
Earned Wage Access Services; Citing this act as the “Florida Earned Wage Access Services Act”; requiring providers to register with the Financial Services Commission; requiring the commission to deny, refuse to renew, or revoke a registration certificate under certain circumstances; requiring a provider offering consumer-directed earned wage access services to comply with certain requirements; authorizing a person who previously provided earned wage access services to continue for a specified time without registering under certain conditions, etc.
Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect January 1, 2026
