Diabetes Management in Schools; Authorizes school district or public school to acquire & maintain supply of undesignated glucagon; requires that undesignated glucagon be stored in secure location that is immediately accessible; authorizes school district or public school to enter into arrangements with manufacturer or supplier to obtain glucagon free of charge or at fair market or reduced price; authorizes school district or public school to accept donated or transferred glucagon that meets certain requirements; authorizes school district or public school to obtain monetary donations or apply for grants to purchase glucagon; authorizes school district or public school to request prescription for glucagon from county health department; authorizes licensed health care practitioner to prescribe glucagon in name of school district or public school; authorizes licensed pharmacist to dispense glucagon pursuant to such prescription; requires participating school to make available undesignated glucagon to be administered as ordered in student's diabetes medical management plan or health care practitioner's orders; requires employee to call for emergency assistance & provide parental notification after administration of glucagon; requires State Board of Education to adopt rules; provides certain persons & entities with immunity from civil & criminal liability.
