Memory Care; Defining the term “memory care services”; requiring facilities claiming to provide memory care services to meet specified standards of operation in providing such services; repealing a provision relating to special care for persons with Alzheimer’s disease or other related disorders; providing the purpose of the Florida Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence; defining terms; creating the center within the Department of Elderly Affairs, etc.
Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2026
