Specific Medical Diagnoses in Child Protective Investigations ; Provides exception to requirement that DCF immediately forward certain allegations to law enforcement agency; requires such allegations to be immediately forwarded to law enforcement agency upon completion of department's investigation; requires child protective investigator to inform subject of investigation of certain duty; requires Child Protection Teams to consult with licensed physician or advanced practice registered nurse with pediatric experience when evaluating certain reports; provides for medical evaluation of abused, abandoned, or neglected children; authorizes parent or legal custodian of child who is subject of protective investigation or shelter order to request specified evaluations or examinations of child within specified timeframe; requires that certain evaluations or examinations be paid for by parent or legal custodian making request or as otherwise covered by insurance; requires physician or advanced practice registered nurse who performed certain medical evaluations or examinations to submit written report to department & certain persons within specified timeframe; requires department to immediately convene case staffing with specified persons; requires certain records be provided to department within specified timeframe.
