Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To instill self sufficiency within the youth by improving their grades targeted to pass the FCAT; improve discipline-enabling youth to cope with the peer pressures of high school, reduce suspensions and dropout rate; improve creative talent; youth will develop their talents leading to performance in theatrical productions, appreciate the value of business ownership through special training in entrepreneurship-develop simple, practical business projects; enhance parent-youth linkages.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

This early intervention program will be designed to both assist the student in achieving academic success and averting juvenile delinquency.Students will benefit from group and peer counseling and image building in an after school setting at Toussaint Louveture and North Miami Elementary Schools in Miami.Parents will be motivated to participate in their children's educational activities and other related parent-child activity that promote family bonding.Parent workshop will be held to encourage and assist parents in helping children academically.
