Project Description:

The project will fund construction of sub-projects to benefit the water quality of the Lake Worth Lagoon.� Six sub-project applications have been submitted for consideration by the selection committee.� Five sub-projects are for stormwater system improvements and one sub-project is a mangrove restoration project.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

Reduced nutrient loading.� Increase in seagrass acreage, creation of additional fisheries habitat and improved water quality.
