Project Description:

Mental health and substance abuse services to African Americans who suffer from mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. Individaul and group therapy and day treatment services to those who need services but cannot afford the cost of careor do not qualify for Medicaid.� Funds will also cover cost increases in rents for an alternative facility.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

90% if involved patients remain productively in their communities, not hospitalized and attain and maintain sobriety.
