The mission of the African American Listing and tampa hope.comwebsite.Leaders, along with businesses in the African American Community will come together to assist in producing a memorable directory and website.Approximately 2,000 African American owned or operated businesses supported Tampa Bay Academy of Hope youth, parent, and community services in 2001 with their donation to the Listing.The Listing has developed into a business-to-business and consumer tool for assisting the African American community to market goods and services in Hillsborough and Pinellas County.The African American Listing has developed and improved over the years to meet the needs of a more technologically advanced business world.A website has been added to the printed version of the African American Listing with options for Website links to an advertiser's own site.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

The African American Listing will continue to expand in the coming years. In 2002 the Tampa Bay Academy of Hope intends to strengthen the committment of the African American Lisiting Executive Committee with strong community leadership and a clear vision. The listing will also include new sections to support the African American Community including, but not limited to, a calendar of events for the coming year and spotlight on African American leaders in the community.
