There is a lack of fish processing plants in Florida. Currently over 75% of our fish is imported. Working in conjunction with the South Florida Aquaculture Co-Op and the existing Collier City fish farm this project will reduce the dependency on foreign fish, provide jobs in an area that has over 25% of all residents living below the poverty level, and will be used by Nova Southeastern University as a 'hands on' teaching facility for the Oceanographic Institute.

AQUACULTURE AND HYDROPONICS PROCESSING PLANT FOR SOUTH FLORIDA THAT WILL CREATE ATLEAST 15 NEW JOBS, SERVE AS THE MODEL FOR NOVA UNIVERSITY, AND ADDRESS THE NEED IN SOUTH FLORIDA FOR A FISH PROCESSING PLANT TO REDUCE OUR DEPENDANCY ON FOERIGN FISH.
