Project Description:
VisionQuest proposed to implement a 72-family FFT program in Orange, Osceola, Okeechobee, Indian River and St. Lucie counties. Each family will receive intensive counseling and support from a professional FFT therapist. Each FFT therapist will have a maximum case load of 12 families, allowing each therapist to provide readily-accessible and focused support tailored to the specific issues confronting each family.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Over a one-year period, at least 190 families in Orange, Osceola, Okeechobee, Indian River and St. Lucie counties will benefit from the extensive in home support provided by the FFT therapists. Participating youth will exhibit substantially lower recidivism rates than youth with similar risk levels who receive other types of intervention.
