| Project Description: |
| This project expands accessibility to technology to people with disabilities. Equipment available for use includes computers, scanners, digital cameras, CD burners, Voice Over The Net Software, and printers. Users learn Microsoft Office software, data entry and other clerical skills. Users will also learn to pay bills online, send and recieve e-mails, surf the net for information, access and read webnewpapers, and on-line contact with elected officials at varying levels of government. This project narrows the gap in access to technology services for those with disabilities by providing a hands on approach to learning |
