| Project Description: |
| The basins S-9 and S10 Stormwater Management and Wet C-11 Canal Water Quality Improvement Program consists of a series of improvements that satisfy environmental, surface water restoration and stormwater management laws and requirements. The project will consist of construction of stormwater control structures, construction of drainage culverts, improvements to canal maintenance easements, removal of exotic nuisance trees, planting of native trees to replace those removed from the easement, contruction of fences and gates, and public education related to runoff from nurseries and livestock areas. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| These imrpovements will eliminate discharge into a section of the C-11 Canal that is designated by the Comprehenvise Everglades Restoration Plan to be free of direct urban run-off. The proposed stormwater control structures will control water elevations and discharge rates of the canal, decreased erosion and more consistent ground water elevations. |
