In adequate capacity coupled with inflow/infiltration issues represents a potential threat to the enjvironment. The implementation of this project will help protect the environment by ensuring that raw sewage is properly collected and treated. Odor control and equipment noise issues exsist and the current treatment facility. The proposed improvements will be designed to minimize noise and odor. Improvements necessary are anticipated to provide at aleast Class B level sludge product, which is also an improvement over the current situation. |

Project Description: |
this project includes the plannning, administration, engineering and construiction of improvement to the wastewater collection, treatment and reuse system within the Vity of Belleview. The City's treatment capacity is not sufficent. The planning associated with this request will allow the City to properly identify a solution for capacity and level of treatment that is environmentally sound, technically feasible, cost effective, and able to be implemented and permitted. this project will ensure that the City of Belleview can provide adequate wastewater collection and treatment facilities in the community. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
A groundwater analysis identified exceedance of Maximum Contaminant Levels for turbidity present in all of the monitoring wells. The improvements included in this project will include reliability and other features to minimize or eliminate the potential for future MCL exceedance issues. |
