Project Description:
This statewide pilot project, under the leadership of the MAD DADS State Office, will work with the Ocala, Jacksonville, Delray Beach and Tampa Chapters of MAD DADS, and the Department of Children and Families. It will provide mentors, parenting classes and work related resources to link fathers with children in the foster care system back to their families. It will increase fathers' ability to find and maintain employment, develop parenting skills, and reconnect to their communities as socially responsible individuals.

This project will link 40 fathers in each community to their families and provide mentors to each. It will help to take 50% of the families in the program out of the foster care program.
