| Project Description: |
| Prevention Services at Volusia and Flagler County High Schools will adress substance abuse risk behaviors during and after school, training for teachers in substance abuse and prevention areas. Student friendly program and has a prevention specialist as a member of the school team, employed by SMC. The prevention specialist will also provide counseling and intensive prevention programs for students that are at risk. Referrals for parent education groups related to substance abuse, and referrals to treatment when indicated. Each is a science based and proven effective program and practice. |
