| Project Description: |
| Re-establishing the design cross-section within these reaches of the Thompson River Canal will significantly decrease flow velocities thereby reducing the potential for erosion that has historically occurred along the canal banks. The reduction in velocity will prevent the flushing of silt and sediments from the canal bottom into the SFWMD C-17 Canal and ultimately into the Lake Worth Lagoon. |
