| As the only zoo in the US located in a sub-tropic region, it attracts hundreds of thousands of domestic and international visitors each year. A part of he Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation System, the Master Plan for the zoo provides for more educational and interactive exhibits featuring Florida, the Caribbean and South America. Exhibits will be experience by boat, truck or car. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| Hidden Treasures is expected to significantly boost zoo attendance. Zoo attendance ia an economic boost to the Miami-Dade Community. Hundred of Thousands of international and domestic visitors annually visit the zoo. The zoo is not onlky an economic asset to the community, it serves as a living science laboratory for the local school system. The implementation of phase III will allow the zoo to increase the attendance at the zoo substantially. |
