Statewide Interest: |
The CATE project is a model partnership between the health department and a community non-profit organization designed to assist low-income residents in obtaining adequate health assessments and screening. The project is part of the Community Health Protection Act, F.S. 381.1001, which was devised to assist the Department of Health reach medically under-served populations that are overburdened by pollution and disease. The Act's other components reach into additional communities throughout the state, and there is also a statewide advisory board. |
