Project Description: |
The project will include rehabilitation to the City's existing wastewater collection system by retrofitting five (5) sewage lift stations. The lift stations are L.S. #3, #5, #6, #10, and #16. Lift Station #3 is located on Orange Avenue at 16th Street; #5 is located on South 25th Street at West DeFuniak Elementary School; #6 is located on North 1st Street at Burdick Avenue; #10 is located at Lake Stanley park on Shoemaker Drive, and #16 is located on North 12th Street. These five (5) lift stations are main stations that serve critical faciliteis and 3 of the 5 serve as repumping stations. These five (5)lift stationsa re important to the overall operation of the sytem. Lift Stations #3, #5, and #6 will be replaced with newly constructed stations. The new stations will consist of new well, pumps, valving with bypass connections, valave box, control panel with emergency generator receptacle and associated mechanical equipment. The other two lift stations, #10 and #16 would be rehabilitated. The rehabilitation of these two stations would include the replacement of the existing vacuum-primed pumps, valves, piping, controls and control panels, wetwell concrete top with aluminum hatch, valve box with bypass connection and modification to the existing wetwells. Engineer's Opinion of Probable Const: L.S. #3 $92,400; L.S. #5 $92,400; L.S. #6 $163,900; L.S. #10 $106,150; L.S. #16 $106,120; Estimated Engineering Services $32,353; Estimated Resident Observation Services $14,672; Total Project Costs $608,025. |
