| Operation PAR is a non-profit organization that is requesting state appropriation for the continued operation of the PAR Adolescent Intervention Center (PAIC) in Pasco County. There is a documented need for PAIC services in the Pasco County community based on the 25% increase of juvenile justice delinquency referrals in 2001 compared to 2000, according to DJJ Judicial Circuit 6. Operation PAR is proposing measurable outcomes of PAIC services as mandated by the Department of Children & Families, Suncoast Region and Department of Juvenile Justice. The project has tangible community support and the endorsement of numerous Pasco County agencies. Operation PAR has identified its local matching fund requirements as listed below. |

| Continuation funding for PAIC, including its Mobile Counseling Center and on-site detention screening services provided at the Pasco JAC. PAIC provides prevention, intervention, and diversion services to youth who are screened with the 8% Solution Criteria Screening Instrument. Services include urine drug screens, Juvenile TASC assessments, outpatient treatment and mental health services. |
