The Bond Women's Health Center will serve as a health care option for women in Leon and surrounding counties that are uninsured, underserved and low income single parents. The mission of the center is to provide consisten and quality comprehensive health care to women of child bearing years and adolescent years who cannot afford to see a private physician.

Project Description:
The Bond Community Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration to provide conprehensive, preventative health care services to the indigent. The Woman's Health Center will deal with the complex issues and barriers to health care facing women which include, but are not limited to, prenatal care, family planning, HIV counseling and testing, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, breast examinations, breast and ovarian cancern screenings, mental health, low birth weight, infant mortality, WIC/diet, parenting skills, health maintenance information and fibroid tumors.
