Statewide Interest:
The statewide critical Nursing Shortage could be alliviated if funding for Nursing Program Expansion was available. This pilot would provide state matching funds on a 2 to 1 basis for local efforts in order to encourage A.S degree Nursing graduates to stay in the area.

Project Description:
Accelerate expansion of nursing program by 48 seats over a two-year period; provide recruitment services to attract qualified applicants and add support services to ensure retention.
