| The combined surface area of the 19 lakes is approximaately 7,000 acres and the watershed of the chain of lakes is approximately 32 square miles. All funds would be used for stormwater treatment in this restoration project. Extensive efforts to eliminate point and non-point sources of pollution are required in order to improve the water quality of the sytem. |

| Project Description: |
| Significant reduction in non-point loading of nutrients into the lakes will be required for improvements of water quality. Also,using typical wet detention systems, this will require the equivalent of 20-25 retrofit projects on the highest loading sub-basins, Storm water treatment will be required with both traditional and innovative stormwater management projects. This is a priority in order to reduce non-point loading of phosphorus into the Lakes. |
