Project Description: |
Request for annualized funding for two additional Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit beds in Collier County. Adult CSUs are under-funded and over-utilized, while the demand for services continues to rise. As a result of having no Medicaid inpatient capacity in the southern part of DCF district 8, Baker Act individuals are backed up in jails and general hospitals, which makes the need for additional CSU beds a critical necessity for Collier County. |
