| This project will protect the environment by removing two point source discharges of secondary treated domestic wastewater treatment plant effluents from a 303d listed impaired water body. These wastewater discharges will be reclaimed and used for beneficial reuse purposes as public access irrigation water in the Clay Co. Utility Authority's reclaimed water distribution system thereby reducing demand on the FL Aguifer and intermediate aquifer groundwater resources. |

| Design & construction of tertiary filters & high level disinfection facilities to treat secondary effluent to meet public access relaimed water standards. Design & construction of a transfer pumping station & approx. 8.7 miles of 24" diameter reclaimed water transmission pipeline. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| The proposed project will remove pollutant loadings from the St. Johns River by reclaiming the effluent for beneficial reuse purposes. Specifically, we estimate reductions in CBODS, TSS, TN & TP loadings from both facilities will be 1.126lbs/day, 1.252lbs/day, 338lbs/day, & 211lbs/day respectfully. Additionally, 7.5 MGD of permitted wastewater effluent will be removed from the river. |
