| Based on a May 2002 reserach study conducted in Michigan, for each dollar of state support a state university in Michigan collectively generates $26 of economic impact. Few if any public investments realize a rate of return of this magnatude. In addition to this benefit, a development of this type provides our community with educational, cultural, professional, technical and vocational services. |
