| Project Description: |
| Academic, attendance and family supports to 60% of the 12,800 children attending an F rated school per 2002-2003 school year rating and who are in a grade leading up to high stakes usage of FCAT scores (grades 1,2,3 and 10,11,12.
This three year project will bring coordination to the efforts of DJJ and DOE in working with high risk families and in reducing juvenile justice encounters.
Additional funding will be sought for the three years of the project. The amount is left unknown because of lack of knowledge of DJJ prevention dollars.
Money to help raise FCAT scores was included in the budget for FY 2003-2004. However because it was not specifically designated for the target population to be served in this request, questions 17 and 18 have been answered NO. |
