Project Description:
The Military and Historical Museum will provide a single location for the citizens of Marion County and visitors to reflect on diverse historical and cultural artifacts and displays. It will provide the means to educate citizens and youth concerning the sacrifices of local and Florida residents for our freedoms. Personal, military, and cultural artifacts will be donated, collected, and cataloged for display in the one-of-a-kind museum.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Measurable outcome will be identified through the construction of the museum, and through the collection of veterans' artifacts. It will also be measured by the attendance of students from public and private schools, community, civic organizations, and tourists, who will visit this repository of irreplaceable military and cultural artifacts.
