Project Description: |
Funds are being sought to enhance services to approximately 8 to 10 homeless women , 11 single mothers and their children (20-25 youths) who are enrolled in residential recovery programs. This is the number of unduplicated individuals who can be helped at any one time. The Center for Women and Children offers comprehensive services that assist residents in transition from homelessness to becoming productive members of the community. The Center for Women and Children operates 24 hours per day, ever day of the year. The Center is over 25 years old and is in desperate need of repairs and new furnishings due to the heavy usage of people. |
