| Project Description: |
| Funds are being sought to restructure and equip an existing building in order to provide basic medical services to the residents of the Miami Centers programs, homeless men, women and children that seek emergency shelter and services, children and parents enrolled in the after school program of the Mission's youth center, and the economically disenfranchised of the surrounding communities. The project would provide health screening, TB testing, medication management, special health fairs and related initial health care services to the neediest of our City and County. The medical clinic would provide relief to the overburdened surrounding hospitals and clinics (mainly Jackson, Cedars, and Mt. Sinai). |
