This capital outlay project will reduce pollutant loading to the Indian River Lagoon by installing a variety of in-line stormwater treatment systems. The Indian River Lagoon has been identified by the St. John’s River Water Management District as a priority water body in need of restoration and special protection according to the Surface Water Improvement and Management Act of 1987

Project Description:
This project consists of installing various stormwater treatment systems in the downtown Melbourne area. These treatment systems may include baffle boxes, grate inlet filter boxes and Continuous Deflective Separation (CDS) systems
