Project Description:
The amount of $1,170,000 for is being requested for the completion of Phase III for the construction of a stormwater pumping station and its force main. The pumping station is designed to be located on the medium of NW 40 Street and East of NW 59 Avenue. The force main will run from the pumping station site to the North and the West o the South side of NW 41 Steet up to NW 67 Avenue to discharge into the FEC Borrow Ditch Canal, which ran West and parallel to NW 67 Avenue.

The funding will improve the existing storm water infrastructure system by means of designing, constructing, and implementing additional flood abatement measures to the existing storm water drainage system in accordance with federal, state, and local storm water management requirements.
