Project Description:
Construction of stormwater retention areas to reduce flooding and provide for treatment of the water prior to being channeled to the Halifax River.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The City of South Daytona has set goals for the reduction of flooding and river pollution. These goals will be measured by the amount of suspended solids removed from the Stevens Canal, as well as the number of homes along Stevens Canal and Reed Canal which avoid flooding during high rainfall events.
