| The NMSDC was founded in 1972 and is the country's leading business member organization of its kind. NMSDC is a network of 39 affiliates with over 15,000 minority-owned businesses with 3,500 corporate members including America's top publicly-owned, privately-owned and foreign owned firms, hospitals, universities and other buying institutions. The Florida Regional Minority Business Council, an affiliate of the NMSDC, will host the NMSDC National Conference in Miami Beach in 2007. More than 8,000 corporate representatives will be in the state of Florida to attend an event exclusively devoted to supplier development and minority entrepreneurs. |
