Project Description:
Funding for the genetics graduate program will educate and train graduate students in genetics and the new science of genomics and will address the shortage of science teachers in high schools, colleges and unviersities in the modern post-genomic sequencing era of biology. This program will train the next generation of scientists capable of using the emerging technologies of genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics which promise to sustain the continuing biological revolution to posivitively impact the lives of Florida citizens.
