The water treatment center is in danger due to excessive flooding from hurricanes Ivan and Dennis. The erosion problem has been exacerbated by recent heavy downpours that have ravaged the area.
The erosion problem is to the point that if it is not fixed soon, another storm will not the station out of commission. By addressing this problem before another storm, contamination of the area surrounding the water treatment center can be prevented. |
