| Project Description: |
| The Village is requesting funding for its residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for approximately 75-100 families, consisting primarily of African-American and Hispanic pregnant and post partum mothers
who suffer from alcohol and other drug problems, and their infants and children impacted by the inutero and environmental effects of maternal substance abuse. Services for the mothers will include assessments, treatment planning, family therapy using NIDA's Strengthening Families Program, individual counseling, vocational and educational services, evaluation and psychotropic medication, group therapy, skills building workshops, addiction workshops, parenting workshops, basic medical care, day care, and case management.
