| Project Description: |
| This project is an initiative to extend municipal wastewater service within the City of Oviedo. The City proposes to extend a wastewater force main to provide service to the local Boys & Girls Town community home and to the City's Shane Kelly Park recreational facility. The area intended for improvement is currently served by on-site septic facilities. This project provides the opportunity to eliminate wastewater discharge from local septic systems into the surficial aquifer in this area by removing point source pollution sites within the Lake Jessup and Little Econlockhatchee River Drainage Basins. The project consists of the construction of approximately 6,600 linear feet of 6 inch sanitary sewer force main to accommodate the anticipated flow from these two regional facilities and the surrounding uses. |
