| Project Description: |
| Florida Grand Opera is one of the four resident companies who will perform in the new Miami Performing Arts Center (PAC) and in fact, will use the Center for rehersals and performances more than any other resident company. In addition, FGO owns the land adjacent to the PAC and will begin construction of a new $30 million Opera Center in January 2005. This Opera Center will not only house FGO's offices, but will include rehearsal halls, classrooms, studios, a costume shop, wig and make-up shops, a music library, an exhibition gallery, a 485 seat theater, and apartments for its singers. FGO is a leader in developing the Performing Arts Center neighborhood. |
