Statewide Interest: |
The need for access and availability to quality and affordable health care is a pressing need not only our county, but also our state and the nation as a whole. Manatee Rural Health Services, inc. is uniquely positioned to provide quality health care services to all persons regardless of their economic status. We are the only full service health care center (within approximately 10 miles) that serves both the insured and uninsured in the area. We are the only private health care provider in the area that offers a sliding fee scale for services to the uninsured. This expansion project will offer more capacity as well as additional health care services to meet the demands of growth in an already underserved area. |
