| To promote international trade and commerce for the Tampa Bay area through trade education, trade seminars, cultural exchanges, trade missions using chambers of commerce, secondary and higher education , nine internationals chambers of commerce, county economic development entities and 7 honorary consulates resident in Tampa Bay. |

| A. Within 2 years, to increase international trade originating from Bay area counties by private companies by 30% and within 5 years to double international trade produced by Bay area companies using 2004 as the base yeae.
B. To monitor and encourage and measure permenant direct foreign investment in 9 Bay area counties and establish some base level within 2 years and to double that level of direct foreign investment by 2010. |
