The Reaching Out to Others Foundation, Inc. has a vision and purpose. Our purpose is to help prevent and improve student dropout rates by providing the means and ways of improving students reading, English and mathematical skills, FCAT studies/preparedness, computer training, homework assistance, and tutoring. Help develop good health and nutritional values. We believe by working with students at an early age we can intervene and make a difference, thus improving their possibilities for entering statewide colleges and universities. The educational component is very important to our program. In order to participate, members must maintain a satisfactory or improve their grade point average and conduct grades.

Project Description:
Provide FCAT preparedness, computer training, tutoring, and homework assistance, math, reading, English skills and Cultural Arts. Qualified teachers, retired teachers, and volunteers will work with students.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Prevent risky behavior in students. This service seeks to develop a quality service to both the student and family. By working with students we can reduce many risk factors, i.e., school dropout, gang involvement, pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, tobacco, substance use/abuse. Our Supportive Services will promote health life choices, positive development and social engagement among youth
